Please wear Helmet and proper PPE while making video also. Very dangerous.
You are correct my friend this is the mentality onboard the vessels which I hope will change .But the truth is that 99% of people working in engine rooms does not use helmet due to high temperatures and discomfort in many cases you can’t work because the sweat is going to your eyes . I know there is no excuses for this but this is the situation.You can wear a helmet doing a walk inspection but not working in the engine room doing overhauling where you need to put hydraulics in the crankcase. I agree helmet is number one priority!

Hi there, does that split system have side movement of the air wings (left to right)? I mean electrically, like the top-down movement.
As I remember it has all that functions.

Great video! I have a question, during the reconditioning of connecting rods from a workshop, and to disassemble them, who is providing the tool/jack, the ship as there is always one onboard, or is the workshop supposed to have its own?
Many thanks ! I have never seen workshop bring their own tools .But I believe if requested they will bring.be carefully because workshop can damage your hydraulic tools.Check also the one onboard the condition sometimes they are really bad or parts missing or somebody has removed some parts or replaced with other.
@@Adventure-Story Thank you so much for your feedback, so if the ship brings the connecting rods for recondition to the workshop, the workshop is supposed to have the hydraulic jack for the specific connecting rods to loosen the nuts? or the ship has to give the tool to the workshop for the job?

Engine room blower Will turn the turbine when the Engine and Lo pump stop , in turn Air pressure will turn the rotar spinning Dry.

What’s the machinery near hotwell and hydrophore(white box) Why a third air bottle on 2nd deck??
As I remember there is a deck air compressor near hotwell.This air compressor was not working due to missing spare parts . In bulk carriers there is the difficulty from companies to send spare parts.So this air compressor was stand still for months maybe even years.
Believe me the Bulk carrier I sailed on, Engine room was 98% exact replica apart from the machinery from other companies, and it didn’t had that deck air compressor or the air bottle on the 2nd deck
@macbaker8434 yes we had this system really if we had the spare parts would be nice to fix it because the main air compressors was working more to cover the demand from deck .

Hello, I want to replace the passenger seat in my Polo 6R Comfortline 4 cylinder 1.4 85 hp from 2010 with a seat that can be folded completely flat. This while retaining the airbag function and the same plugs under the seat. Does anyone know which (VW) seats are suitable for this? Volkswagen seats from later Polo versions or other Volkswagen or non-Volkswagen seats? Any useful information regarding this subject is welcome.
